Mary Levine

Mary grew up in the dance world, starting when she was two and a half and has been dancing for 27 years. After high school she attended the University of Minnesota and was a four-year member and captain of the national champion University of Minnesota Dance Team. During her time there, she was trained in technique, Jazz, Pom, Hip Hop and cheered on the sidelines of every University Football and Basketball game. Her time on the team consisted of 7 national championship titles in the Pom and Jazz categories, and one World Pom title competing as Team USA. Shortly after graduation, she auditioned for her favorite television show, So You Think You Can Dance on FOX making the top 25, and quickly realized that her time in the dance world was far from over. Since then, she’s worked in print, modeled for dance catalogs, styled and choreographed for dance costume photo-shoots, danced in the 2018 Super Bowl, featured in National commercials as well as reputable choreographers concept videos. She also began teaching, coaching, choreographing and mentoring dancers across the globe. Her love for dance, and passion for teaching is what made her thrive. Mary owns a company, Move Dance Collective, where she travels the world working with highly competitive dance studios, high school, college, and all star teams in Jazz, lyrical, Contemporary, Pom, and Game-Day choreography, as well as Master classes and instruction. Her teaching has also landed her guest roles on a convention circuit, as well as college dance recruitment events. Her work has expanded beyond the borders of the United States and into Europe, choreographing for prestigious dancers abroad. Though her choreography has won many State & National & International titles, her favorite part about teaching is getting to share her love for the art through mentoring the next generation of dancers.
