Amanda Dexl
Amanda Dexl grew up as a competitive dancer in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. She received majority of her training in all styles of dance from Missy Ridgway, Lizzie Mackenzie, Mandy Moore, Sonya Tayeh, Dee Caspary, and Brian Rabenda. After high school, Amanda lived in Los Angeles for two years working as a professional dancer. She has worked with some of LA’s top choreographers, such as Matt Steffanina and Stacey Tookey. She also appeared in a music video for K-pop artist, Shin, and regularly danced in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Hollywood. In her junior year of college, Amanda danced for the University of Minnesota dance team and contributed to defending their national title. For several years, she has been teaching and choreographing competitive routines for both studios and dance teams throughout the country. Amanda now lives in Arizona where she continues to emphasize the importance of teaching a strong work ethic. She hopes to train, challenge, and inspire dancers of all ages to build a strong technical foundation while pursuing their passion.
